DeRoy Education PartnersIdentity2023Given the opportunity to come up with a brand language for DeRoy Education Partners, a mentorship program that takes financial pressure off of students while also providing more college successful skills, financial literacy, and career preparation. Our approach was to emphasize on DeEP creating a community for its cohort, creating a space where the students are able to be Purposefully Kind, Persistently Ambitious, and Passionately Bold

Every word, building block, webpage, sticker, and window is meticulously crafted to cultivate a message and feeling that DeEP is truly for and with the students it aims to support.

Muscle MemoryRisograph Publication2023When going into thinking about my personal design manifesto, the overlying thought that kept circling in my mind was how can I make this something that will manifest itself into my everyday life and design process? Making these ten statements a muscle memory. After finalizing my ten rules and values, I developed a key word for each statement and found imagery from my personal library to serve as a reminder of what the statement means to me. Hopefully, these statements can mean something to people other than myself. When you look at these values, what can help you remember them?


Scientific Study of UFOSPublication Design2021The Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects (The Codon Report) was a study, funded by the US Air Force, and conducted between 1966 and 1968 at the University of Colorado by Professor Edward Condon. Through his studies, his mission was to break the superstition on whether or not UFOS are real or just a myth.

Given the raw text from the unformatted copy of The Codon Report, with no sense of structure or formatting, the solution to create a 250 plus book with complete creative freedom is to share the research into a completed dynamic system full of grids, tables, and a little bit of play. The overall design choices were inspired by the process of note taking and annotating while going through a book to give the illusion that the Codon Report was being solved right in front of 
our eyes.

This zine was created in collaboration with Burrough Archive to be a capsule of their collection this far. Showcasing the process and nuances behind the brand with hand manipulated imagery and hand stamped elements to make the zine feel made for you.



Detroit Month of DesignIdentity2022Detroit Month of Design, powered by Design Core Detroit, is an annual month-long design festival that unifies the creative community to celebrate Detroit as a UNESCO City of Design. Throughout the month there is a series of experiences, installations, talks, workshops, and more. 

The theme for 2022 is United By Design with the intention to bring unity to the forefront. Unity holds the key to creating a future in which all people, and our planet, can thrive.
