(2022) “Fashion is a form of expression, for decades it has played a huge role in shattering gender roles and constantly challenging limitations”.

This explainer video was created to showcase how fashion was and still is an outlet for communicating women's values, stories, and ideals. There is an ongoing stigma on women’s appearance and bodies that society feels they have a need to control. Without the changes made by early fashion and feminist icons, using fashion as a form of expression may not be as common today.
